2025 Pinot Gris

While our Dry Riesling and Dry Gewürztraminer may be the stars of our Alsatian portfolio, Pinot Gris is the quiet overachiever: a noble (edel) grape capable of remarkable elegance and depth. Sourced from Spanish Springs Vineyard, just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean, the fruit benefits from cool marine breezes and mineral-rich soils that preserve freshness while developing exceptional complexity. The nose is reminiscent of an ocean walk, with floral notes, wet stone, shale, and hints of citrus. On the palate, bright lemon and lush stone fruit mingle with apricot, citrus pulp, subtle spice, and a whisper of salinity. Crisp acidity and a long, clean finish make this a wonderfully pleasant wine with plenty of character. Serve alongside herb-roasted chicken, seared scallops, or a creamy butternut squash risotto for an unforgettable pairing.
